SAI DESAM – GANDHI MARGAM

FORE WORD

Building up of Present Day Society, based on Spiritual and Moral values are prime need of the present day. Constructive actions based on these are necessary. It is also necessary that every step for prevention, eradication and corrective actions on rampant corruption be implemented. In Political, sphere too stringent action towards removal of corruption is essential.

A SUGGESION

Present Society is full of ups & down and its way of running is very harmful to the society. Its existence is un-ethical, un-peaceful and violent in nature. No body is bothered about the present day running of the society. Every body is selfish and focusing on own welfare. The selfish attitude has grown to such a magnitude that they are resorting to extreme measures polluting the entire society for their self-gain. They, while in power, want to take advantage and make them selves rich even at the cost of Society. They are not hesitating even to rob the public monies for this purpose.

It is pathetic to state that Government employees are not satisfied with their packages. They are exploiting their Departments. Politicians have become greedy. Contractors are not mindful of quality and are satisfied if their Purses are full. Future perils are immaterial to the contractors. Even Parents seems to have forgotten about future of their children. They are also clamouring for illegal Earnings.

In Politics peculiar attitudes are developing. Power mongering is on increase. To amass properties became their main aim. Because this attitude, they are prepared to spend lakhs of rupees to enter in to politics. Once they enter, they aim to recoup monies spent in an un-ethical and through illegal means.

On the other side the Youth, in particular Educated Youth are turning towards violent attitude and Love mania.

Coming to the Legislative Houses, which are pillars to guide and life for democracy, their running is unbearable, damaging and questionable. Everywhere there is turmoil and uproar. To think of tomorrow and future, all we see is a world of uncertainty.

Analysing the present uncertainties, there is no hesitation to state that degradation of moral values in the Individuals lead to this situation. Therefore, it is high time to build a society based on spiritual and moral values

Besides taking steps for removal of Corruption at every stage, it is also necessary that comprehensive and stringent measures be taken. It is necessary not only to pluck it at the root level but also to take constructive measures. In particular, in Political level these measures are necessary. Every Political party has the prime duty to analyse social circumstances and bring out constructive goals for the society and people. They are to see that there is a transparency and bring out answerability in ruling. To foster a real and social justice is necessary. In all, the aims should be removal of corruption in Toto and utilization of public monies in a constructive way.

To achieve above objectives, appropriate schemes and programs will be prepared. They will be implemented in line with spiritual and moral values that are followed by Pujya Satya Sai Baba. Once this done, there will be transparency in their implementation. People accept it where moral values given importance.

Then, the main goal takes shape towards unearthing the potentiality that exist in public and making them as partners in the existing natural wealth.  The main aim also is to give Self-respect, honorability and protection while making them to develop. At every stage, future benefits are taken care of. Actions will be taken to see that schemes reach public and their implementation is achieved.

It is necessary that spiritual and moral values take shape in every one and in that direction; it is to see that society is benefited. In educational field, peace and non-violence that was practiced by Gandhiji will have appropriate place.

The Firm beginning made by Mahatma is a “Lead Kindly Light” for the human race on any date.

COMPLETE PROHIBITION

“Prohibition did not achieve its goals. Instead, it added to the problems it was intended to solve”

Prohibition was meant to reduce the consumption of alcohol, seen by some as the devil’s advocate, and thereby reduce crime, poverty, death rates, and improve the economy and the quality of life. “National prohibition of alcohol -- the ‘noble experiment’ -- was undertaken to reduce crime and corruption, solve social problems, reduce the tax burden created by prisons and poorhouses, and improve health and hygiene.” Instead,

State government is relying on excise income, as the main source of revenue is to dispense with immediately.  Total prohibition must come into force and we have to put an end for spoiled families who resort to do illegal, irrational and violent behaviour / attitude with rampant to liquor addictions.

The increasing menace and uproar from the women is come to an end.  Drinking in the public is to ban. Increasing fears in the present society disposed off.

We have to put an end to the way of stealing women’s earning by the drunken husband un minding welfare of the families in particular in the poor families need total attention and prohibition.

The system of free flow of liquor during election seasons must go.  The encouragement that is given to cheap liquor by the government should be discouraged.  We have to evolve a new system of prohibition to allot sufficient funds and see that wide publicity is given.

As there is a major usage of liquor in the weaker and poorer sections, these publicity media need to concentrate in those places.
